Papakura High School is a diverse multi-cultural school located in Papakura, Auckland.
The school is a part of Kootuitui ki Papakura Trust, which has shared goal of implementing and supporting the development of digital technology across the various member schools.
Through the trust, PHS previously launched a digital curriculum for their year 9, 10, and 11 students, allowing students to lease Chromebooks at a modest weekly cost over a three-year period.
KEY RESULTS
- Delivery of high-quality PCs at an affordable rate due to a solid partnership between PB Tech and Fusion Networks (would not have been possible through other procurement partners).
- Additional digital learning opportunities for students following the conclusion of the Media Design Course – The PCs were also used for internal Art Design Classes and e-sport opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS
The Satellite video production course delivered by Media Design School for PHS required high-specification PCs to run the latest edition of Adobe Creative Cloud.
To fulfil this task, Fusion Networks approached PB Tech on behalf of PHS to build the custom PCs based on their prior working history in the Education sector.

RESULTS
With the assistance of Fusion Networks, PB Tech was able to deploy 30 computers to Papakura High School, making a real difference to their students' education.
The PCs helped students enrich their creative potential by creating opportunities to study video production, art design, and to get involved in e-sports.
